How to Pay for Your Order
At MyStudyMates, we want making a purchase to be as easy and secure as possible. We offer several convenient payment options for our customers across Nigeria.
Accepted Payment Methods
💳 Debit & Credit Cards
We accept all major Nigerian debit and credit cards including Verve, Mastercard, and Visa. Your card details are encrypted and processed securely — we never store your card information on our servers.
🏦 Bank Transfer
You can pay directly via bank transfer to our account. Once your order is placed, you will receive our bank details. Please use your order number as the payment reference so we can confirm your payment quickly.

📱 Transfer via Mobile Banking / USSD
You can also pay using your bank’s mobile app or USSD code. Simply transfer to the bank details above and send us your confirmation.
💰 Pay on Delivery (Lagos Only)
For customers within Lagos, we offer a Pay on Delivery option on selected orders. This means you pay cash when your order arrives at your door. Please note that this option may not be available during peak periods.
Payment Security
Your security is our priority. All online transactions on MyStudyMates are:
- Encrypted using SSL (you’ll see the padlock icon in your browser)
- Processed securely through trusted payment gateways
- Never stored — we do not keep your card details on our website

Order Confirmation
Once your payment is confirmed, you will receive an order confirmation email with your order details and a summary of what you purchased. If you do not receive a confirmation email within 24 hours of payment, please check your spam folder or contact us.
Payment Issues & Failed Transactions
If your payment fails or you are charged but do not receive an order confirmation, please do not attempt to pay again immediately. Instead:
- Check your bank statement or app to confirm whether the debit went through
- Contact us at info@mystudymates.com with your name, order details, and the amount debited
- We will investigate and resolve the issue within 1–2 business days
Any accidental duplicate payments will be refunded in full.
Pricing & Currency
All prices on MyStudyMates are displayed in Nigerian Naira (₦). The price you see at checkout is the final price — there are no hidden charges added at the payment stage, though delivery fees may apply depending on your location.
