MyStudyMates is an educational publishing company based in Lagos, Nigeria, dedicated to helping children learn through play. We create and sell activity books, story books, and self-help books designed to support the development of children aged 3 and above.

Comments
When visitors leave comments on our site, we collect the data shown in the comments form, along with the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help with spam detection.
An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to check whether you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available at https://automattic.com/privacy/. After your comment is approved, your profile picture may be visible to the public alongside your comment.
Media
If you upload images to our website, please avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Other visitors to the website may be able to download and extract any location data from images you upload.
Cookies
If you leave a comment on our site, you may opt in to saving your name, email address, and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.
If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine whether your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.
When you log in, we will set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for one year. Who we share your data with
We do not sell or rent your personal data to third parties. Your data is only shared in the following limited circumstances:

- Order fulfilment — We may share your delivery address with our logistics or courier partners solely for the purpose of delivering your order.

- Spam detection — Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.
How long we retain your data
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This allows us to recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically rather than holding them in a moderation queue.
For users who register on our website, we also store the personal information provided in their user profile. All users can view, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also view and edit that information.
Order information (name, email address, billing and shipping address, and purchase details) is retained for a minimum of five years for accounting and legal compliance purposes.
What rights you have over your data
If you have an account on this site or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

Where we send your data
Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service. Order data is processed through our payment and logistics partners as described above. We do not transfer your personal data outside Nigeria except where necessary to provide services you have requested (such as payment processing).
